FTL: Faster Than Light Free Download In FTL, the player starts the game in control of a Federation cruiser that is on a secret mission to deliver a data packet which it has intercepted from a rebel fleet to the Federation fleet. Throughout the game, the player must traverse a total of 8 sectors with the ultimate goal of defending the Federation fleet from the final boss. While doing this, however, the player must also avoid destruction from the rebel fleet, enemy ships, environmental hazards, and otherwise possibly dangerous situations. The player can select 1 of 10 types of ships, most of which have up to 3 different layouts with various combinations of systems, weapons, drones, and crew. The player may also choose which difficulty they wish to play on: higher difficulties result in less scrap gain and harder enemy spawns throughout the game.  Repacklab.com sexy games

but an increased score multiplier at the end of the game. Throughout the game, there are various events that the player is able to encounter at any beacon they travel to, with different possible results. The player may also accrue resources throughout the game, which can be used for the firing of certain weapons, activating drones to assist in combat, or simply upgrading the ship/buying stuff. FTL is now available in 9 languages! English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Mandarin! The free expansion, FTL: Advanced Edition, is available now! Content additions include: new alien race, events, weapons, playable ships, drones, and more! Also adds additional musical tracks by Ben Prunty, and events by Tom Jubert and guest writer Chris Avellone.

Mind Control System

Mind Control System: Temporarily turn enemies into allies. Force a boarder to repair the damage they just did, or have the enemy pilot sabotage their own helm. Hacking System: Lock down and disrupt enemy systems. Unique effects for each system, ranging from forcing a teleporter to remove boarders to making the medbay damage instead of heal. New Sector and Events: Our writer Tom Jubert has returned along with special guest writer Chris Avellone (of Planescape fame), who managed to find some time for us between his work on Project Eternity and Wasteland 2. They’ve been helping us add a new sector and scatter new events throughout the rest of the game. New Weapons and Effects: Many new weapons that take advantage of new mechanics: overcharging to increase the number of volleys, stun effects to freeze crew, and area effect targeting, to name a few. New Race: on FTL writer Tom Jubert’s blog, he specifies that there will be a new race that will be closely tied to the new sector, which has been tentatively named the “Abandoned Sector”. Clone Bay is a system that replaces the Medbay. Clones are generated when crewmembers die as result of combat (for a small crew skill penalty) or events such as Giant Alien Spiders or Escape Pod Floating Nearby. Death can still be permanent, should the system be damaged mid-cloning. Although the replacement of the med-bay means the crew can’t heal normally, the clonebay will restore a slight amount of health per jump. All type C ships come with a clone bay installed and old ships can replace their medbay for one at the store, for 50 scrap.

Gameplay

At game start, the player chooses a spacecraft to start with, each one with a different layout and containing a different mix of weapons, systems (piloting, engines, weapons, oxygen, etc.), and crew. The game randomly generates eight space sectors similar to roguelike games, with roughly twenty waypoints (called “beacons”) in each sector. The player must “jump” the ship between waypoints, normally unaware what awaits at each point, and make headway to an “exit” point leading to the next sector. The player’s ship can accumulate scrap (in-game currency), equipment (ranging from weapons to drones and various ship augmentations) and extra crew members by maximizing the number of beacons (and hence events/other ships) they visit, but each encounter has the potential to deal damage to their ship and/or crew. The player can revisit waypoints, but each warp jump consumes fuel and causes the rebel fleet to advance in each sector, and slowly take over more of the beacons. Once a beacon is taken over, jumping to the beacon will result in an encounter with a dangerous elite rebel fighter, while only ever granting the player 1 unit of fuel upon defeat. In later sectors, enemies are tougher and have better weaponry but also yield increased rewards when beaten. There are eight different species of crew in the game: Humans, Engi, Zoltan, Mantis, Rock, Slug, Lanius, and Crystal. Members of these species can all be acquired by the player or found manning enemy ships. Each species has different strengths and weaknesses based on their physiology. For example, Rockmen are immune to fire and have high health.

Synopsis

The player controls a spacecraft capable of traveling faster-than-light (FTL). It belongs to the Galactic Federation, which is on the verge of defeat in a war with an exclusively human and xenophobic rebel faction, simply called the Rebellion. The player’s crew intercepts a data packet from the rebel fleet containing information that could throw the rebels into disarray and ensure a Federation victory. The goal is to reach Federation headquarters, waiting several space sectors away, while avoiding destruction from hostile ships or by the pursuing rebel fleet. The final sector ends with a battle against the Rebel Flagship, a multi-stage fight which results in either victory or defeat for the Federation. The game can be defined as a rogue-like : each game randomly generates several events for the player. Lifeless Planet Premier Edition

The events are varied, from the ransom demand, to the completion of quests; each decision can be rewarded, cause a confrontation, damage the ship or lose a teammate. Up to the possibilities of choice of sectors, the game randomly generates the possible choices of the player knowing that the latter can influence them according to his equipment and his course. Especially since very important resources are only available during victorious battles and rare stores (whose stocks are limited). Each part is rather short but the game gives challenge and a part of randomness. The principle of permanent deathis applied: in case of defeat (ship destroyed or crew dead), the game must be restarted.
