best weapon simulation

best weapon simulator for VR. No other game even comes near it. Anton, the lone developer, has put an incredible amount of passion and hard work into this game for many years and is still coming up with weekly devlogs and frequent updates. The selection of weapons is unbelievably large, the detail is astonishing and the handling is second to none. A large selection of arcade game modes will surely keep you busy for a while. Highly recommended to anyone interested in VR Guns! And whatever other madness we see fit to add! Classic Controls is the default control scheme for H3VR. This scheme was primarily designed with the HTC Vive in mind and makes liberal use of the touchpad. Other platforms can use Classic Controls. Zombieland VR Headshot Fever

though if they don’t have a touchpad, they use the joystick instead. Note that all tutorials and devlogs made before Update #96 all use Classic Controls. The player should use Classic Controls if: They are playing on HTC Vive, or any other platform with only one face button and a trackpad. The player prefers Joystick Teleport, Linear Slide-to-Point, or Single Touchpad Movement Modes. The player wants full access to a firearm’s controls (e.g. Quick-bolting, slide locks, bolt releases, etc) Otherwise the player should consider using Streamlined Controls, especially if they’re new to the game. grabbing objects on Vive and WMR is different to all other systems; grabbing an object is done by pulling the trigger, and dropping an object is done by either pressing the grip button.

Wielding a firearm

A Two-Handed Grip will make all firearms more controllable; most longer weapons will have a grip surface forward of the trigger that you can grab, as indicated if you hover your controller over the grip surface and the blue sphere on top of your controller silhouette turns white. For small weapons like pistols, you will need to use a Palm Grip. To do this, take whichever hand is not holding the pistol, and hold it near your other hand, typically beneath it. This will make the pistol recoil less when firing. It’s not as stable as a two-handed grip, but will do a lot to mitigate recoil. The Virtual Stock is an option in the simulation menu that further stabilizes weapons. When holding a gun with two hands that is equipped with a stock (or has a pistol stock attached). Zero Caliber VR

the virtual stock will “rest” against your shoulder when the gun is brought close enough to your body, allowing you to pivot the gun at a set distance away from you and reduce recoil. If your weapon’s stock length can be adjusted, you can adjust this so that you can bring the gun’s sights closer or farther away from you when shouldered. Bracing is a mechanic that lets you “pseudo-bipod” a weapon against solid surfaces. To do this, first, hold your weapon with a two-handed grip. Next, move towards a solid surface, such as a wall, and with your forward hand still gripping the weapon, move it within a few inches of the wall, and hold the trigger on the forward hand. Your gun will now pivot around where your hand was placed, so long as you don’t move too far away from that surface.

Movement

By default, you will start with using Teleport. This is the easiest movement mode to use, and the one best suited for those who easily get motion-sick. To use teleport, hold down the face button on your controller (Menu on Vive or WMR, B/Y Button on other platforms). Aim your hand where you want to move, as you’ll see a silhouette of where you’ll teleport. Release to instantly teleport to that spot. This is for Classic Controls, which is used by default. If you’re on Streamlined Controls, press forward on the Joystick to activate teleport, and release the joystick to teleport to the point that your hand is aiming at. If you’d like to try a different Movement mode, you can select it from your Wrist Menu, or from the Options Panel, which is accessible from your Wrist Menu or at the Main Menu. VR Kanojo

Some movement modes are simply variants of Teleport. Others, like Twinstick, use the joysticks for moving around. Armswinger, meanwhile, is based on the movement of your arms. See Movement Mode for more details, and find the one that works best for you. Hover your controller over the gun, making sure the interaction sphere (a glowing blue ball) on your controller silhouette collides with the it, then press the trigger or the grip button, depending on platform. The gun will snap to your hand. To release, press/release the grip button depending on platform. Hover your other controller over the magazine, then hold the trigger/grip button. To release, let go of the trigger/grip button. Put your magazine physically into your gun, until it snaps into place.
