Ittle Dew 2+ Free Download About this time last year, I played through and reviewed the impressive Ittle Dew 2. It won me over with its charming world, fantastic sense of humour, and addictive gameplay that had me hooked until I beat it. Considering I already discussed it at length, I highly recommend reading my full Ittle Dew 2 review if you’re unfamiliar with the original version. Ittle Dew 2+ includes the same memorable Zelda-style adventure complete with challenging yet doable puzzles, a cast of quirky characters, lighthearted music, rewarding collectibles, and a variety of satisfying weapons. Unlocking shortcuts on the overworld map and mastering dungeon after dungeon while uncovering a wealth of hidden goodies is super-satisfying, especially with the constantly charming world and intuitive controls that tie it all together. I can’t say enough about how well Ittle Dew 2 crafts an engaging and enjoyable campaign. The developers definitely know what they’re doing and their peers can learn a lot from them. So, what’s new in Ittle Dew 2+? Basically, there’s a fresh and exciting Dream World area. This new land contains five dungeons that include forty cards which are fun to try and collect. Each dungeon within the Dream World can be accessed after you gain specific abilities so it’s interesting how this world ties in with the main campaign. Upon traversing these dungeons and trying to collect all of the cards, you’ll come across some very clever puzzles and even a brand new boss fight. Overall, the Dream World is a great addition for hardcore Ittle Dew 2 fans (such as myself) as it provides some welcome challenges that help extend the replay value substantially. All of that being said, if you already own Ittle Dew 2 and aren’t a huge fan who is eager to get their hands on more content then Ittle Dew 2+ is probably not worth purchasing, too.

It makes me wish the Dream World would release as DLC for the original Ittle Dew 2 so every fan would have a chance to play through it. Anyway, those who haven’t played Ittle Dew 2 yet should definitely pick up Ittle Dew 2+ because it’s clearly the best version released so far. It’s one incredible game, especially if you enjoy the classic overhead adventure formula as presented in The Legend of Zelda complete with a large overworld and extremely rewarding puzzle-filled dungeons. Another minor complaint is that I wish the problems in the vanilla version were remedied here. The bosses are still quite repetitive, there are no additional difficulty settings, and some parts are still rather perplexing to figure out. If the developers fixed these issues then I can see Ittle Dew 2+ being a must-have Switch game like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

The story follows Ittle and Tippsee as they’re left beached when their raft somehow gets stuck in a puddle. After an old man (who very much dislikes adventurers) tells them to leave the island immediately, Ittle and Tippsee adventure off to explore the island and find the 8 hidden raft pieces scattered across this deserted island. Whilst adventuring Ittle and Tippsee will bump into the island’s residents, who all have hints and tips that they’ll give to you. However, instead of the characters being polite and courteous to you they’ll speak to you in a sarcastic manner, as a fan of sarcasm this amused me greatly. The conversations had between the two main protagonists whenever you enter any of the games 8 main dungeons are especially hilarious and offer a great dynamic between the two.

Locate “Secret Shards” to unlock additional challenging secret dungeons!

Speaking of dungeons, these play out a lot like dungeons from your average 2D Zelda – you’ll find rooms filled with enemies and puzzles and you’ll either have to defeat all enemies or complete enemies in order to progress through each room, in some cases you may even need to find a new item in order to progress. Each dungeon will contain at least one new item such as a wand that lets you hit items you can’t reach due to holes in the ground or spikes surrounding them. Exploration is key here in Ittle Dew 2+, you’ll need to explore every nook and cranny in order to find maps that’ll unlock smaller dungeons on the mini-map, there’s an abundance of these to be found and they’ll all contain items that are imperative to helping you in your adventure. Another item that can be found in dungeons are boxes of crayons. While Ittle initially starts off with 5 hearts in her health bar, finding one of these boxes will increase your total heart counter by a quarter of a heart – these were especially helpful when fighting difficult enemies, which I found there was plenty of throughout the game. Like 2D Zelda games that came before it, Ittle Dew 2+ is easy to control, using either the left analogue stick or the d-pad you can control Ittle, B will allow you to swing your sword and the other face buttons will allow you to use other items as and when you find them. The L button is also used here in order to provide hints as to what your objective is, by pressing it Tippsee will give you a hint as to where you need to go or how to clear a room if you’re in a dungeon.

Dream world added, a new area with five dungeons focusing on puzzles.

Ittle Dew 2+ took me around 8 hours to complete which is pretty good given its high-ish price tag, but I did find that towards the latter part of the game that it started to outstay its welcome a little bit, but with that being said I was still smiling profoundly throughout the entirety of the game. When we talk about nostalgia for old gaming styles, we often misrepresent what was actually there by conflating it with how we felt about it at the time. Top-down action-adventure games have this problem constantly, because everyone compares them to Legend of Zelda, and some try too hard to be just that. But Ittle Dew 2+ does two key things right. First, it manages to capture that feeling we all want back of not knowing where to go next and having to puzzle out the next destination or solution. Second, except for its genre, it’s not much like The Legend of Zelda. And that’s great. Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper

You play as Ittle, a young adventurer woman who has somehow washed up on an island that seemingly caters to adventurers just like her. With her is her bored companion Tippsie, a flying fox. In order to escape the island, she needs to collect eight raft pieces from each of the island’s eight dungeons. At first, she’s armed with only a stick to fight with, but as she travels she can pick up three other weapons, and all four are upgradeable for use both in combat and in puzzle-solving. Ittle Dew 2+ tells you little about itself when you begin. There are eight dungeons, and you can see the first vaguely indicated on your blank map, but how and when you get there is up to you. You can do everything out of order if you want. You’ll eventually need items only found in the dungeons to go about gathering the game’s many Secret Shards, but the puzzles are all there from the start for you to stare at blankly for as long as you want. And make no mistake–in and out of dungeons, this game’s puzzles can take some work to solve. I’ve never seen so many varied iterations on pushing blocks!. DCS World
