Kainga Seeds of Civilization Free Download Repacklab is one of many city builder games to be announced this year. But with the added premise of giant beasts and unique civilizations, will Kainga Seeds of Civilization manage to separate itself in whats becoming a saturated market? Firstly, it’s worth noting that when playing the game for our Kainga Seeds of Civilization review, the game is currently in a pre-release state. Much of the game is unfinished and yet to be added, all of which is being developed by a single developer, which in itself is a pretty ambitious feat. In the games’ current state, I encountered a few bugs, such as workers refusing to gather materials, getting stuck in silly places, and general graphical glitches. SEXY GAMES

That being said, we join beta’s fully knowing there will be issues, so instead of focusing on them, I want to look at the game itself and its potential. Currently, there are only two biomes that can be explored, and the game feels a little bare. Looking at the roadmap, it seems like there is plenty of content that will be coming into Kainga Seeds of Civilization and being staggered into several named updates. As it stands, I would have trouble recommending Kainga Seeds of Civilization. That doesn’t mean I cannot see the immense potential the game has to offer though. In fact, I’m very much looking forward to having another playthrough once the game has had some more development, to see if that will change the overall tone of my Kainga Seeds of Civilization Review.

Create Unusual Cultures

This is where Kainga Seeds of Civilization sets itself apart from other games. The world in which Kainga is based in is inhabited by giant beasts that can be tamed and even built upon, allowing you to create mobile towns that can offer protection for your people. Much like Ark: Survival Evolved, players must tame and equip saddles for these creatures before they are able to mount them. Once you have gone through the trouble of taming one, new opportunities for base defenses or even a completely mobile town open up. There are already a few creatures in Kainga Seeds of Civilization. These range from leviathan class giants to smaller creatures, such as the snails, which can still be tamed and serve a purpose for your settlement. When starting out in Kainga, you are offered to run through a tutorial. While I do highly recommend doing the tutorial, I felt that it could have been longer. Kainga is clearly both a unique and ambitious game, and as such has a fairly steep learning curve. The lack of depth in the tutorial really stood out for me in-game. My entire village was set on fire and I had no idea why this had happened, or what I could do to put the fire out. Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a rogue-lite city builder game. Each run is a new 30 minute to 1-hour challenge that drops the player in a new location with only your Thinker and a few braves to start your civilization. Good so far, Definitely reminds me of Populous for sure.

Discover Over 140 Unique Technologies

My biggest issues I am having so far is with Ladders, Climbing poles and the AI just forgetting I even have a claimed piece of land in the distance and constantly saying there is no such resource usually later in the game when i look over and there’s 20 clumps of clay or 10 trees… Of course you can manually make them get the resources but that then defeats the purpose of claiming land.. Last one I noticed so far is attacking other tribes, the frames get really choppy and blurry occasionally.. Other than all that cant wait to see the new islands and whatever else yall can add to the game. Would be great to see a Skirmish mode implemented into the game, something to make the battles feel a bit more fun, the Ai usually just stand around most the game unless you miss a demand or they randomly decide to send a few during one of the global events. I did have a moment where they sent 20 archers but i wiped them out with 2 warriors and maybe 4 braves. As a strategic rogue-lite, death in Kainga is permanent and a looming threat, but the lessons you learn, the technology you discover and the achievements you accomplish will allow you to get further on your next adventure!. Your civilization revolves around thinkers, these thinkers are required to research new technologies and are the most important people in your tribe. Should they die, you lose the game and will have to start the current scenario all over again. There are tons of threats that you need to watch out for in Kainga, including the giant animals that roam the world. Other tribes will attack should you not meet their demands, and the weather, which can include volatile thunderstorms that can destroy your buildings and kill your braves.

Train Units and Tame Beasts

With the recent release of the Kainga Seeds of Civilization demo, the question is, is it worth playing?. This roguelite Kickstarter definitely has potential. It offers a unique twist to the genre, allowing you to create something different every time you play. If the game were released in its current state, I’d say there wasn’t enough content as it stands. However, with a little refinement and some bugs ironed out, I can definitely see Kainga being a popular village-builder. We expect to see Kainga release in early access on Steam this Autumn and eagerly await what’s next on their roadmap. Once the game is fully released, we look forward to updating our Kainga review. The soundtrack alone is worth purchasing this game, and the ancient civilization fantasy theme is exceptional. The game has a creative take on the village builder/territory management game and the randomization provides you with endless replay ability. Age of Darkness: Final Stand

Kainga early access is a strong foundation and the road map has tons more content on the horizon. One of the most addictive city builders in my entire library. The game gives heavy Lionhead, ( the developer), vibes. For a newer reference, think Rimworld, Timberborne, or Going Medieval. all of these games share an aspect of survival elements, where the player must use the limited found resources in a strategic way, but what Kainga adds is a deck builder element that makes each run both more interesting, and challenging. Kainga is also a faster game than most city builders, more refined than sped up really, which encourages experimentation. to sum up, i was hoping for a roguelike version of Rimworld, and I was very satisfied with what this game delivered.
