MA Professional Manager 2005 Free Download I previously used Premier Manager 97 by Gremlin, but wanted something a bit more challenging with a visual gameplay, rather than just the lame commentary of Championship Manager, which is no better than an old DOS strategy game. After a lot of scouting around the Internet, I found this LMA Professional Manager 2005. I bought the now cheaper 2005 version before investing a bigger wedge on 2007. What a let down! If this version is anything to go by, I’m so glad I didn’t buy 2007. sexy games

The game is so clumsy and unintuitive. The biggest annoyance is the lack of control over tactics, eg. I wanted to employ a 2-3-3-2 formation, but wasn’t allowed to because the programmers didn’t think of including it in the selection. Even in Premier Manager 97 you can tinker with formations, but not with this. Furthermore, you can’t dictate a player’s zone of play – that appears to be predefined by the programmers. The controls are so rigid. The useless manual doesn’t even explain how to control player marking, so the ‘Marking button’ stays greyed out and unused! Most of the team tactic controls (slider bars) don’t move and tactics are all predefined. It’s lazy programming. The match graphics are visually better than Premier Manager 97, such as player detail, although the actual matchplay itself is no better.

Game mechanics

The manual that accompanies this game is just so useless and dire – written by lazy people. For example, the explanations for the game settings are completely inadequate with no proper explanation, and no instructions about how to initiate player marking. In “Team Tactics” there is a block of nine buttons that attaches a directional arrow to the individual players. What is that? The manual doesn’t even mention this! The same philosophy is employed throughout. Absolute rubbish! I don’t understand why these companies never try the manuals and games out on uninitiated people in order to discover such shortcomings before release onto the market. That is proper professional product development, something Codemasters clearly do not appear to understand. GRIME

If you want to break out of the game to get back to your desktop for any reason, forget it – there is no feature to do so within the game. If you try pressing Cont/Alt/Del to bring up the Task Manager, you will have to wait a while before the Task Manager and Desktop appears. Even worse news now – you can’t get back into the game. Click on the game on the Taskbar and you will hear the game’s sounds, but be confronted with a black screen, thus being forced to go back to the Task Manager again to close the game down completely, thus losing all the progress you made in the game. Appalling! Even Premier Manager 97 let you do this.

Controls and gameplay

The longer I play this game, the angrier I get – not with my team, but with the laziness of the programmers to actually provide any worthwhile level of control. Codemasters, if you can’t do a job properly, don’t bother doing it at all! It’s just all too limited. I just keep wanting to close the whole thing down and watch TV, or go back to Premier Manager 97 which, despite being so much older, has everything this has, but works properly, That is to say, this is no better than Premier Manager 98 and that is down to poor project planning, which also involves improving on what has gone before. It appears that Codemasters are also lacking in this field. Wrench

Supported as usual at Electronic Arts by a young and trendy music which welcomes the player from the menus, LFP Manager 2005on Xbox is in the simplicity of the options and simply offers to start a new career as coach and president of an existing football club. Depending on our aspirations and our degree of identification with the real stars of the bench, we can either start the season in the team of our choice (with or without the possibility of being fired for poor results) or select one among the three that the game randomly chosen for us. Twenty championships are available, mainly European, but a maximum of six can be selected and managed simultaneously in a game. His chosen club, his few statistics (Ability to train, to motivate .

Training sessions

Forged through training sessions, to be adjusted day by day as needed, the aptitudes of our foals are all the more important as they obviously play a role during the days, broadcast live in LFP Manager 2005 . As is now its custom, Electronic Artshas indeed grafted to its management game the lighter engine of one of its FIFA and entrusts the result during the matches to two IAs, who are responsible for forging the score. Seeing our training, patiently ramping up by us through transfers and long hours of preparation, putting your misery on PSG or OL with pretty actions is certainly something exhilarating. The rendering, very worked, is really fun to see and it is undoubtedly the biggest highlight of the game. Unfortunately, this method of representation has its setbacks and if we can give some orders during the match, we also pass a lot of time waiting for something to happen. War on the Sea

Even if you speed up everything using button B, you have to wait for long minutes at half-time, before waiting again until at the end of the match to finally hang around during loading times. Viewing only the important matches in 3D is obviously the solution to adopt, but the other two modes of viewing the matches also have their problems. The choice of the Immediate result is as often that of anything: a team much stronger than another is taken 4-0 at home, the red lantern snatches the victory from the leader of the championship on his ground, etc. The advantage of not waiting twenty minutes for the outcome of a meeting is great, but it is however a little too much like a dice roll to completely seduce. but the other two modes of viewing encounters also have their problems.  GROUND BRANCH
